I've been working with emotional intelligence as a coach and facilitator since 1999, and am passionate about helping people rediscover their authenticity – to project on the outside who they truly are on the inside.
My most notable EI achievements to date are:
- co-development of a unique guided development programme – the Minds4Success programme – which forms the basis of my coaching work
- co-author of the book ‘Applied Emotional Intelligence’ (Wiley 2006)
- co-development of an exciting new development tool called the Successful Relationships Indicator (SRi) which will be launched into the market place in January 2008
- lead in the development of a new Masters programme in Emotional Intelligence Development and Coaching
- Trustee and Director of Learning & Development for the Institute for Applied Emotional Intelligence
I'm also fascinated by the Law of Attraction and the links between EI and Spiritual Intelligence, and am consumed by the daily challenge of feeling fully alive!
I also adore animals, have been known to be a bit of a rock chic, and enjoy sampling the odd glass or 3 of red wine ...!

Hi Amanda. I'm really excited to have opened up completely in my mind to the amazing possibilities about what might be 'out there' (or indeed 'in there'). The idea of some kind of 'connectedness' with everything is very appealing, something that I have been exposed to during reiki training and some of the stuff Denys has read during kinesiology training. Can't wait to carry on the investigations :-)
Hi Amanda! Hope all is well with you? So pleased I can get into this site from work but I'll have to be disciplined! Hopefully will be able to make the meetign on 29th too... : )) V.

Thanks Amanda, look forward to sharing the photos with you next year. Keep up to date with our progress on www.clipperroundtheworld.com - you need to cheer on the Hull and Humber boat! It would be good to catch up next year re the RSQ/SRI and ask your advice on coaching for myself...
May I please ask you what are the core aspects of the spiritual side of EI? Are there any principles that bind the various/disparate incarnations of spiritual EI together?
What binds say the Hawaian type spiritualism with Eastern or Western versions?
What definitions do you have that characterises these phenomena?
The spiritual bit of the course was really good. I was sorry that it had to be rushed as I needed more time to fully understand what it involves and to question it a bit.
I was particularly interested in the idea of the cleansing and would love to know more about it. A little potted explanation if you could find the time.
